SINS
Sin is as natural as breathing. We are born into a culture in society that is already functioning + set in place. We naturally evolve into what our environment dictates. Everything influences your perception of the real world. We learn what is right or wrong, good or bad, etc. Some of us are fortunate to be exposed to people with morals and then some of us are not. But we start to see that some people are worse than others over time. We all know right from wrong. Now it is time to get started. We can’t measure our human standard of good and bad by looking at the world today.
That is as a human race deciding what is right or wrong for our different cultural beliefs, ideas, etc. God has one set of rules no compromises. When and if you choose to give God a chance you will see what is true and what is a lie. God’s moral standard can’t be proven wrong. Sin is us listening to our senses. How we feel, circumstances, and life in general. We are doing what we want to do and our way. Our way of doing things is not God’s way. As you begin to walk in Christ, you start to see this and eventually, you start seeing, sort of like a reflection, your way and God’s ways. Accountability is now starting to come into play. We are responsible for everything we do.
Now if God is not a factor in your life. Then you are free to do any and everything your heart desires. We have to realize that we can’t stay within the lines of our moral standards because we bend with the circumstances of life. With God on your side, you have rules, his rules. So far this has been about what we all naturally know. But as you have acknowledged God, there is also an adversary at play. Satan, the devil, or whatever you want to call it. It exists and is at play in the world 24/7. That is the most powerful influencer on earth.
World systems, spirits, and other influences are his ways to enter your life and target your thoughts. Be aware of where your thoughts come from. Exposure through TV, social media, music, and videos opens gateways for him. If you are not in Christ, you have not learned how to guard
